THE AMBITIOUS GIRL
I am a firm believer that everyone should have a theme song that keeps them motivated to persevere through whatever obstacles they may be facing or that just makes them feel good. A few years ago, one of my friend's song was Nobody by Ne-Yo and she would blast that song on her Ipod and strut with the utmost confidence. My song usually changes months at a time. This month my song is The Ambitious Girl by Wale.
Having goals and aspirations is one of the most attractive qualities one can possess. However, being able to know what you want out of life is very difficult. But, once you have a clear idea of what you do want to do, making those first steps toward it will be rewarding. I think that's why my favorite part of the song is when Wale repeats "Go girl" at the end because it's like words of encouragement to just make that first step. Unfortunately, I realize I'm ambitious about so many things it's hard to pick just one. Luckily, there is no rule that states that you have to be solely ambitious for one thing.

So the day you told me you finally did it i tried to leave a comment and was a little slow...so here it go, i love you and def support all you do, and love the song of choice, wale is a great soul with great respectful, inspiring words and i love that theres still some females out here with a sense of being than just floating....you stand for something and therefore wont fall for "nothing" i love you and with God you can only go up from here :-) from sister to sister (milkshake)
